Job Title: Summer HR/Admin Intern

Department: Human Resources

Location: Columbia, SC

Hiring Range: $14.00/Hour

Commitment: 10-Week Summer Commitment to The Cason Group (June – August 2026), 30 hours per week

Our HR/Admin Intern will engage in meaningful work experiences with our Human Resources and Administrative Services teams through completing functional HR projects and providing administrative, clerical, and receptionist support to internal and external constituents.

What Our Summer HR/ADMIN Interns Do:

  • Support HR Functions: provide support for Human Resources by performing administrative tasks, completing research and projects, and executing reports; navigate appropriate technology platforms and software to locate a variety of information; assist with organizing on-boarding and orientations for new employees; maintain high degrees of confidentiality; run local office-related errands as needed
  • Engage as a Team Player: work closely with the Administrative Services team to strategize answering telephones and connecting callers with the appropriate staff members; perform general clerical duties (photocopying, scanning, emailing, faxing, and filing documents electronically)

What We Are Looking For:

  • Students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and/or related Business fields
    • Preference will be given to rising-seniors
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of project execution along with compliance of deadlines for a variety of deliverables
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer services skills as well as the ability to work well with others to secure their support and cooperation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Teams); knowledge of databases
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image
