Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Location: Columbia, SC

Type: Full-Time; Occasional travel to recruiting events locally and out of town

Hiring Range: $45,000 - $65,000 annually (commensurate with directly applicable experience)

Commitment: Two-Year Commitment to The Cason Group

Our Human Resources department provides support for all company leadership and employees through a variety of programs, policies, and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will create and implement recruitment plans, screen applicants, and manage the company’s Applicant Tracking System while providing an outstanding candidate experience.

What Our Recruiting Coordinator Does:

  • Coordinate Recruiting Efforts: promote The Cason Group’s purpose, mission, vision, and values at recruiting events and in all candidate interactions; identify and create sourcing pipelines; represent the organization at recruitment events; provide an excellent candidate experience for candidates in our talent pool; screen candidates
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS): ensure ATS is current with requisitions, candidates, and workflows to maintain accuracy of searches; manage reporting functions of ATS to report monthly on recruiting metrics
  • Collaborate and Communicate: collaborate with key stakeholders to provide and obtain feedback around recruiting initiatives and obtain insights on future hiring priorities; actively engage in strategic planning of recruiting and other HR initiatives; work closely with Corporate Communications on collateral pieces and promotional items designed for talent attraction
  • Engage as a Team Player: assist the HR Team with Onboarding or other company level training as requested; serve as back-up for Coordinator of HR & Employee Relations as needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and two years of experience in Recruiting/HR preferred
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others to secure support and cooperation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of execution along with compliance of deadlines for a variety of deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and be creative and think critically
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ClearCo preferred) and Microsoft Office
